TVS iQube ELECTRIC
TVS has finally launched the next generation of iQube electric scooters. Earlier the scooter was only available in a single variant with just white colour as well as it had the claimed range of 75 km in Eco mode in a single charge. But the second generation has a lot more to offer and here's what's new.
The next generation TVS iQube electric is available in 3 variants and multiple colour options along with an increase in range, battery capacity, and features.
The next generation TVS iQube electric comes in 3 variants which are:-
iQube
iQube S
iQube ST
So here's what each variant has to offer.
iQube
It's basically the old iQube which was earlier available but has increased range which is 100 km in Eco mode and 75 km in power mode, due to the increase in battery capacity. Along with it, this variant is available in 3 colours which are:-
- Shining Red
- Titanium Grey Glossy
- Pearl White
It gets the same 5-inch TFT display which we have seen in the older version.
iQube S
In the design and looks department, it's the same as the iQube variant except it has a bigger windscreen/visor. Apart from that it also gives the same 100 km range in Eco mode and 75 km in power mode, and it gets adjustable rear suspension which is missing in the IQUBE variant.
It gets a bigger 7-inch TFT screen with a joystick to operate it. And this variant is available in 4 colour options which are:-
- Lucid Yellow
- Mercury Grey
- Mint Blue
- Copper Bronze Glossy
iQube ST
Now comes the top variant with all the perks. The top variant comes with a bigger battery compared to the rest of the variants as it has an extended range of 145 km in Eco mode and 110 km in power mode. Along with the same big windscreen/ visor from the iQube S variant.
It also gets a 7-inch screen but it's a touch screen this time as well as it can be controlled by the joystick. Whereas the other variant has a top speed of 78 kmph, the IQUBE ST variant has a top speed of 82 kmph. Not only that the ST variant will have a bigger 32 litres of boot space. This variant is also available in 4 colour options which are:-
- Starlight Blue
- Titanium Grey Matte
- Coral Sand
- Copper Bronze Matte

PRICE
The TVS iQube electric 2022 is priced at Rs 1.67 lakhs on-road Delhi without a subsidiary and the effective price with all the subsidiaries is Rs 99,130 for the base variant. The S variant is priced at Rs 1.77 lakhs on-road Delhi and the effective price is Rs 1.09 lakhs. The ST variant is not launched yet but will launch soon and we can expect a price of under 1.50 lakhs.
MY OPINIONS
With the upgrade in range from 75 km to 100 km , the EV looks much more promising than before. And I think in the competition it's one of the cheapest options from a mainstream two-wheeler manufacturer .
