Welcome to another Weekly news to get the weekly dose of awesome automotive content. Last week had some amazing news such as the comeback of the LEGENDARY SAFARI and some awesome launched , Here's what all happened last week.
TATA SAFARI COMING BACK
As last time TATA MOTORS you tube channel posted a video on 6th of January showing the legacy of the legendary SAFARI. At the end of the video we see the silhouette of the upcoming SAFARI. The silhouette was of the Gravitas which was confirmed when TATA MOTORS posted a photo of the upcoming SAFARI on social media. GRAVITAS was set to launch on mid 2021, for those who don't know Gravitas is the 7 seater version of Harrier. But from the video this is cleared that the name TATA GRAVITAS will change to SAFARI and will be launched as the next generation of SAFARI and will pose as a flagship product from TATA MOTORS. Although there are no official dates for launch of the the new SAFARI but it's expected that the car will be launched on 26th of January.
New Audi A4 launched
Audi updated the Audi A4 in India. The A4 is available with all wheel drive in US automotive market, but in India it is available in Front wheel drive only. The new A4 gets a new 2.0 liters turbo petrol engine which is also available in Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Superb. The new A4 is launched in two variants which are Tech variant starts from Rs 42.34 lakhs and Premium plus variant starts from 46.67 lakhs ex- showroom.
KAWASAKI LAUNCHED THE BIGGEST SUPERCHARGED NAKEDS
Kawasaki launched the Z H2 and Z H2 SE in India. These motorcycles are the naked version of Kawasaki H2 R. The Z H2 and Z H2 SE uses a 998cc supercharged inline 4 cylinder engine. The Kawasaki Z H2 starts from Rs 21.9 lakhs and Z H2 SE starts from Rs 25.9 lakhs ex - showroom.
KAWASAKI VERSYS AND Z650 LAUNCHED IN INDIA
Kawasaki launched the Versys 1000 with the same specs with just some minor cosmetic changes at Rs 11.19 lakhs ex- showroom which is approximately 20,000 more than the predecessor. While on the other side the Z650 is priced at Rs 6.04 lakhs ex- showroom which is approximately 10,000 expensive.
