It's 2020 and you may use e-commerce website and apps regularly for all sort of works such as for paying bills , buying groceries, cloths and other day to day essentials. The availability of any product online makes things easy now a days for anything to buy. Ever thought of buying a vehicle online? If not than it's okay don't think, as due to Corona-virus pandemic car manufacturing brands have took an initiative based on the data of a recent survey to avail an amazing experience of buying a car online just like any other thing.
In this article I will be telling you about what made the companies or brands to think of availing the option of buying cars online and also how will the process of buying a car online will be taken to the delivery.

So basically recently a survey was conducted by Deloitte Global State of the Consumer Tracker survey said “If available, I will buy my next vehicle online. The survey was conducted in 13 countries including US,UK and India etc.
The most interesting thing is that 81 percent people from Indian who took the survey responded yes and stud as the second highest respondents while Italy was first with 82 percent.
Considering the above survey data many brands have announced to launch an online platform or portal from where people will be able the buy there car online. Big and popular brands such as Mercedes and BMW along with Honda announced there platform as Merc from home and Honda from home to avail people to buy cars online.Recently TATA as well as Hyundai have also announced to sell cars online.

All the brands have promised to provide their online interfaces with complete transparency regarding preparation of cars to the documentation process as well as fully secured payment options. All the dealerships and outlet of the respective brands across India will be connected to a e-commerce portal to make it easier shopping experience as well as customer support services.
According to me the car will be delivered as soon as the documenting and other procedures are followed. I think that in areas marked as green zone, people will be offered offline payment options as well as option to collect there car from the showroom after documentation of the car is completed with proper rules and regulations considering social distancing. While others such as orange and red zones will only be allowed only for online payments as well as delivery will be given by showroom staff.

I think this will profit both parts, customers as well as companies. The people who researched as were prepared to buy a car will be profited as well as the companies will be able to boost there sales figures and earn profit in order to pay other expenses such as salaries and others.
But still the final infrastructure is not ready now, so there is not more information available regarding this matter, I will be updating your as soon as I get much advanced information.

Till then tell me what are your thoughts regarding buying a car online. Do you think this is a better option or not ? After all you can't drive it as lockdown is implemented.
