TVS has launched the 2020 BS6 TVS Star City + the bike gets LED headlamps , fuel Injection as well as dual tone colour scheme. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 63,000 Ex showroom. The bike is offered in new and refreshing colour scheme and look.

Engine Specs

The engine is new and BS6 compliant single cylinder fuel injected 109.7cc air cooled engine, which now produces maximum power of 8.19 PS at 7350 rpm and maximum torque of 8.7 Nm at 4500 rpm. It uses the same 4 speed gearbox and is expected to churn out 65 to 75 kmpl mileage.
As TVS has given the APACHE series a race tuned fuel injection system , Similarly the Start City + gets a Eco Thrust Fuel Injection Technology for better mileage figures.
Yes, the BS6 Star City + has lost a pinch of power but the torque output is same as it's BS4 version. If we compare the BS4 engine with BS6 than the maximum power kicks 350 rpm late and the maximum torque kicks in 500 rpm earlier than the BS4 engine.

Don't watch this that by paying 9,000 more your getting fuel Injected bike with USB charger. Instead try to watch the big picture that it will create less pollution and will help the nature to be clean and green again.

The reason to put the above line is because yesterday , one person said me that this all BS6 thing is just useless, why pay more for the same thing?
