Bajaj and Triumph Partnership

We all know about brand collaborations or partnerships such as HERO had with HONDA , and Bajaj had with Kawasaki. So, recently Bajaj and Triumph announced that they are in partnership with each other. Earlier also Bajaj has many partnerships such as with Kawasaki and few years back with KTM. So stay tuned cause, I will be giving you all the expectations we can have with this partnership.

INTRODUCTION

In case you are not familiar to any of these companies than here is a brief introduction about Bajaj and Triumph :-

BAJAJ 

Bajaj Auto is an India global two- wheeler, three- wheeler manufacturer company based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. They manufacture motorcycles, scooters and auto rickshaws. Bajaj Auto is a part of Bajaj Group which was founded by Jamnalal Bajaj in Rajasthan in 1940's. Its one of the biggest two wheeler manufacturer in India. Famous motorcycles, scooters :-

• Bajaj Pulsar series
• Bajaj Chetak
• Bajaj Chetak EV

TRIUMPH

Triumph Motorcycles is the largest UK owned motorcycle manufacturer, established in 1983 by John Bloor. Triumph's headquarters is in Hinckley, United Kingdom. In India Triumph is mainly famous of it's touring motorcycles. Famous motorcycles in India :-

• Triumph Tiger
• Triumph Street triple S

PARTNERSHIP DETAILS

In this partnership of Bajaj and Triumph they are gonna develop a 200cc to 750cc motorcycle which would cost under Rs 2 lakhs which is extremely affordable to people. But which ever is to be developed in this partnership will be launched in 2022 which is about 2 years from now. The motorcycles which would be developed will be sold under the Triumph brand name. Disappointingly there wouldn't be any Bajaj branded bike from this partnership.
Bajaj would be manufacturing the motorcycles which would be developed during this partnership in it's Chakan Plant. Even Bajaj would be taking the triumph dealership to expand it over India as it did with KTM. Meanwhile Triumph would be selling the Bajaj-Triumph developed motorcycles globally.

EXPECTATIONS From This PARTNERSHIP

From this partnership the first thing which would happen is the expansion of Triumph showrooms which will allow many motorcycle enthusiasts to buy one of there dream bikes such as TRIUMPH TIGER. Take an example of my place , there are lots of motorcycle enthusiasts, but no one can buy a Triumph because he or she needs to travel about 400 km which would end up travelling to a different state which would create a lot of hassle fassle in registration of there motorcycle.
The second thing which would happen is the launch of a new product from Triumph, According to me it would be either a classic motorcycle or a small capacity touring motorcycle.
