Audi India has launched a new premium SUV continuing the Q series from Audi. The car comes with a 3 Ltrs turbo petrol engine with 48V mild- hybrid system. The engine is matted with a 8- speed automatic transmission and 7 different driving modes. The Audi Q8 is launched at Rs 1.33 Crore. The car offers some extraordinary tech features which are mind blowing.

Engine and Performance

The new Audi Q8 comes equipped with a BS6 3.0 Litres Turbo Petrol engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system which can recover 12kW of power while braking and can feed it back to the batteries. The Turbo Petrol engine produces power of 340 PS and torque of 500 Nm. This engine is offered with a 8- speed automatic transmission. The Audi Q8 comes with 7 different driving modes. Audi Q8 can achieve a top speed of 250 kilometres per hour and can go 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 5.9 seconds.

Features

The car itself is offered with lot of customization options such as ventilated seats with a massaging option, Air quality package with ionizes and fragrance, four -Zone climate control etc
The car is loaded with features such as two large displays covering the dashboard area, one is a 10.1 inch and the other is a 8.6 inch with haptic feedback. Both the displays are used to control the 1920 watts, 23 speakers infotainment system for converting your car into a in-car personal music festival. Apart from these there is another 12.3 inch  high- resolution display for Audi's virtual cockpit which can be controlled with the multi-functional buttons on the steering wheel.
The car is offered with 20 inch standard and 21 inch optional wheels. The car is offered with Adaptive Air suspension and optional All- Wheel steering. Other normal features comes standard such as ABS, EBD, Airbags ( Passenger and curtain ), Engine Immobilizer, Brake assists, Hill assist, Traction control, Electronic stability Provider, Steering Tilt and Telescopic etc

CONCLUSION

With this Price point Audi Q8 becomes one of the expensive cars offered by Audi in India. Although Audi offers a lot of premium technologies in there cars due to which Audi is one of my favourite Car manufacturers. Audi Q8 will compete against  BMW X7, Range Rover Sport and Volvo  XC90 in Indian market.
