TVS's one of the best scooters now a days are the NTORQ 125, which offers a ton of features at its price point.
Now NTORQ 125 is been refreshed by TVS as it did before with the APACHE RTR 200 4V with Race Edition and now it's the time of NTORQ 125.
Yes, you are guessing it correct, TVS has launched and yes it looks a lot sportier than before with new small additions.
TVS NTORQ 125 RACE EDITION
Looks and Appearance
As I mentioned above scooter is absolutely the same except visual changes and feature upgrades. The visual upgrades are only in the paint scheme as the NTORQ 125 race edition gets all new paint scheme. It gets all new red, black, silver, colour paint scheme. Other than the colours scheme, it also gets an all new T-shaped diffused LED DRL with LED headlamp setup which looks certainly more aggressive and appealing. Except the headlamp and paint scheme the scooter remains the same. By the way there are lots of new designs and looks still being discovered each day, you can check them out on the official TVS and NTORQ social media pages. And one of these designers is gonna be official designed by students.Engine Specifications
Talking about the engine department there are no extra changes in it, NTORQ 125 continues to use the same 124.8 CC single cylinder four stroke 3 valve CTVI- REVV engine which produces max power of 9.8 HP at 7500 RPM and max torque of 10.5 Nm at 5500 RPM. The engine is already awesome from the scooter's first launch.Features
There are some new features added. The NTORQ 125 was already a feature loaded scooter with it's Bluetooth connected instrumental console, but now with new head lamp and hazard light, it gets much value for money at it's new price point.Competitors
It gets quite a bit tough competitions such as the segment kings HONDA ACTIVA 125, SUZUKI ACCESS 125 etc. But as we all know already that the NTORQ give them a head to head competition. Now as I think with the small add-ons in Race Edition will make the NTORQs racing and aggressive behaviour more in front.
Conclusion
According to me it's also value for money which you give. By paying Rs. 3000 more you will be getting an all new LED headlamp, but not only that you will be getting a better and unique paint scheme (unique in sense of its new) and hazard lights features. The scooter is one of the best in the segment, no doubt that. Yet, if you are thinking to buy this scooter then do take a test ride. As vehicles may feel impressive on paper but you need to check how practical it is according to you.
