Gixxer SP 150 Facelift

Recently Suzuki launched the Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 and 250 in the market. Well, now the new Suzuki Gixxer Street Fighter 150, the naked version of Suzuki Gixxer SF 150.
So, lets see what all we get in the street fighter counterpart of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 150.

Suzuki Gixxer SP 150

Suzuki has launched the Gixxer SP 150  2019 version after the launch of Gixxer SF 150 and 250. The motorcycle was spied couple of months earlier in various Suzuki showrooms but now it's finally launched. It is moreover a facelift version of Gixxer SP 150. This all new Gixxer SP 150 is priced at Rs. 1 lakh (ex showroom Delhi).

Looks and Appearance

Looks and Appearance are dependents on each and every person, someone may like it but someone may hate it, personally I liked the new styling of the all new Gixxer, it's lot better than its predecessor.
As Gixxer SF 150 which launched quite a while ago the Gixxer SP 150 Street fighter also get a brand new look. The Gixxer Street fighter 150 has got much aggressive with its all new aggressive tank caul. The cauls are mounted on the same Gixxer tank which we used to see in the older versions. It gets an all new compact all LED headlamp unit having multiple LED lights which suits the motorcycle. The rest of the tail section is the same which we see in the Gixxer SF 150. It's available in 3 colours Sparkle Black, Metallic Sonic Silver, Metallic Triton Blue.

Engine Specifications

The Gixxer SF 150 has the same BSVI compliant 155 CC 4 stroke single cylinder air cooled SOHC two valve engine which produces 14.1 PS of power at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. This engine is fuel injected and is coupled up with a 5 speed gearbox. This engine is a lot smoother and refined than the previous versions of it.

Features

Gixxer SF 150 is equipped with all LED headlamp and tail lamp setup and a fully digital instrumental console. It gets the same telescopic suspension at front and monoshock at rear. It gets dual disc brakes and a single channel ABS as mandatory. Gixxer SF 150 also the trademark dual port exhaust system.

Ergonomics / Dimensions

The Gixxer SF 150 is 2020 mm long and 800 mm wide, the kerb weight of the motorcycle is 140 kgs which is 6 kg is lighter than its faired counterpart. It gets a 12 litre fuel tank and ground clearance is of 160 mm with a  seat height of 795 mm.

Conclusion

The Gixxer 150 is an awesome package at a price point of Rs. 1 lakhs ex-showroom. The motorcycle is very refined and nimble. The top speed we could reach was 120 kmph at a free stretch although it's mentioned 127 kmph. This Gixxer 150 is powerful the the recently launched Yamaha FZ S - Fi V3. According to me it has more then adequate power and torque for daily city riding and weekend short rides. You can easily zip through the city with no extra efforts. Although my concern is that take a test ride before buying it from your nearest showroom.
