Suzuki has finally launched the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and has upgraded the Gixxer SF 150. As Suzuki says that the motorcycle is more sportier now .
So, today I will give you all the information about these motorcycles.

SUZUKI GIXXER SF 150

Suzuki launched the Gixxer SF 150 with the Gixxer SP 150. After the launch this motorcycle became favourite between the bike enthusiasts. As it comes from Suzuki which is know for manufacturing the iconic and legendary motorcycles such as Hayabusa and GSXR 1000 people were excited for the Gixxer SF series. Although the motorcycle is having track DNA but still has upright sitting posture, I mean the new Gixxer has sportier yet upright and straight riding posture.
The all new Gixxer SF 150 comes with a 154.9CC four stroke single cylinder air cooled SOHC two valve engine, which produces 14.1 PS of power at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM. The engine is fuel injected with a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle gets telescopic suspension at front and mono shock at rear. It gets disc brakes at front and rear as well as single channel ABS.
Talking about upgrades from the older version new Gixxer SF 150 gets an all new look as well as clip on handlebars along with more sportier sitting position, LED head and tail lamps. It gets the same old instrumental console which is still much informative than most of the motorcycle in this segment, along with the dual port exhaust system.
Ergonomics and pretty much the same at it gets a ground clearance of 165 mm and the seat height of 795 mm. It gets a fuel capacity of 12 litres and kerb weight of 146 kgs. It's launch at Rs 1,09,870 ex-showroom Delhi.

SUZUKI GIXXER SF 250

After the massive success of the Gixxer series, people expected a bigger version of it. And I think Suzuki got it and launched the Gixxer 250 in 2019. The motorcycle looks exactly identical to the Gixxer SF 150. The Gixxer SF 250 gets an all new 249CC four stroke, single cylinder, oil cooled SOHC four valve engine which produces a maximum power of 26.5 PS at 9000 RPM and maximum power of 22.6 Nm at 7500 RPM. Engine is coupled up with a 6-speed gear box. The motorcycle has disc brakes at both the end and a dual channel ABS.
Talking about ergonomics the ground clearance is the same 165 mm but the seat height is 800 mm and the kerb weight is 161 kgs. The fuel capacity is same 12 litres.
Motorcycle has almost the same chassis which date SF 150 has even the fuel capacity is also same. The  Gixxer 250 has some of the tough competition such as the Duke 250, Yamaha FZ 25, KTM RC 200. So it would be interesting to see how much people choose it over the other competitors. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is priced at Rs 1,70,655.
