The Future of Cars is here | Electric Cars | Detroit Motor Show 2019

Welcome back guys, and today i will give you information about the Detroit Motor show which was held recently and all the electric vehicles showcased in this motor show. Although the articles is a bit late. This motor show was held around January 2019 and was quite surprising.

The automobile industry is rapidly shifting towards making electric vehicles in place of petrol-diesel-powered vehicles. According to reports by 2040, 55% of new cars sold in the world will be electric. As the decrease in sales of petrol-diesel cars. In India the sale of cars increased by just 5% in 2018. Similarly in other countries the growth in sales of cars are either low or minimal. As analyzing the stats the big brands are not trying to innovate in the petrol-diesel segment anymore. The brands showcased some of its electric and hybrid cars in the motor show organized in Detroit 2019. The specialty of this motor show is that all the cars showcased here were the electronic versions of some of the most famous cars such as Ford Mustang GT , Cadillac, etc. According to all the brands, they want to use the profits from selling these cars in making new electronic cars.

Lets know about some of the cars showed in Detroit Motor Show 2019.

Infiniti QX Inspiration Concept.

The specialty of this cars is that it has a petrol engine which is used to recharge the battery whenever the charge is low. This technology is named as e-power technology. 

Nissan IM

The Japanese car manufacturing giant "Nissan", has introduced the sports electric car called "IM" concept. The specialty is that it can run for 608 kilometres for a single charge. It also has two types of driving modes, manual and autonomous. The Nissan IM is powered by a 483 horsepower electric motor.

Cadillac

General Motors has showcased two new cars in this motor show. XT-6 and Cadillac electric crossover. These cars will feature options such as front wheel drive, rear wheel drive and all wheel drive. These cars are introduced and will be sold as luxury electric cars.

Ford Mustang Shelby 2020

Ford has relaunched one of the most popular cars again in electric version. The new Mustang Shelby GT -500 comes equipped with a new 700 horsepower engine which makes the car cover 0kmph to 96 kmph in just 3 seconds.

Recently the motorcycle pioneer Eric Buell introduces or may i say launches a new electric motorcycle brand named "Fuell".

Avon E Star

As one side where brands such as Hero Electric , Okinawa and Ather are praised. On the other side Avon has already launched its electric scooter way earlier which just costs Rs. 24000 only which is very cheap considering electric vehicles .
