Volkswagen T Roc

Volkswagen has launched its next SUV Volkswagen T-ROC. It will be the next car in the Volkswagen SUV lineup after the Tiguan AllSpace in India. Volkswagen T-ROC will stand below the Tiguan AllSpace in the lineup. Talking about the differences Volkswagen T-ROC will come with a smaller engine as well as will be smaller in dimensions compared to Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace. The T- ROC is launched in a single fully loaded Variant, on which we will talk later but before let's have a look on other aspects.

Looks and Design

The car comes with a wide front all black grill with VW logo on middle and integrated LED headlamps. The bumper includes D shaped LED DRLs and a second honeycomb pattern grill and fog lamps at a bottom. The car comes with coupe design language with blacked out roof from A pillar to the rear roof integrated spoiler followed by a chrome strip. The car gets 17 inch Diamond cut alloys which Volkswagen refers as Mayfield Diamond cut Wheels. The car comes with similar tail-lamps as we see in Tiguan AllSpace, but it gets much spottier dual faux trapezoid shaped exhaust pipes with chrome outlines. The car gets a distinguished yet similar designing compared to Tiguan AllSpace. Overall the car is a smaller version of Tiguan AllSpace with minor changes in looks.

Engine Specs

The car gets a single engine options which is a 1.5 Litres or 1498 cc Turbo Petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 150 PS from 5000 to 6000 RPM and a maximum torque of 250 Nm from 1500 to 3500 RPM. As this is a turbo engine so it gets a 7 speed DSG gearbox / transmission. This car will churn out a mileage of approx 15 to 16 kmpl.
