Skoda has launched the Skoda Karoq which was recently showcased in 2020 Auto Expo. The Skoda Karoq is a 5 seater crossover SUV which will compete with cars such as Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson and recently launched Tiguan AllSpace. The Skoda Karoq will be a fully imported car, which means it would be priced higher. The Skoda Karoq is launched in a single fully loaded " Style " variant similar to Volkswagen Tiguan and T- ROC.
Talking about looks, the car comes with the signature tiger nose grill and gets LED projector headlamps similar to it's elder sibling Skoda Kodiaq. The Skoda Karoq will sit below Kodiaq in Skoda's lineup. The Skoda Karoq comes will almost all the features which are available on it's elder sibling Kodiaq.

Skoda Karoq Engine Specifications

The Skoda Karoq comes with a 1.5 Litres / 1498 cc 4 cylinder Turbo Petrol engine with Active Cylinder Technology (ACT). This engine produces a maximum power of 150 PS between 5000 to 6000 RPM and maximum torque of 250 Nm from 1500 to 3000 RPM. The Skoda Karoq comes with just this petrol engine, no diesel engine option available. This 1.5 L TSI petrol engine comes with just a 7 speed DSG transmission. The Karoq comes with front wheel drive which means you can't run this thing if you want to go for adventures off-roading tracks. According to Skoda the Karoq will give a mileage of around 14.49 kmpl.

As the car is imported so the price is also high. The Karoq is launched with a single fully loaded Variant in India. The Style variant which is the single variant available with only front wheel drive is priced at Rs 24.99 lakhs ex - showroom India.
