Toyota Vellfire - Launch in India | The Luxurious MPV.

The MPV car segment in India is full of cars such as Maruti Suzuki Ertiga , Mahindra Marrazo and the famous Toyota Innova Crysta and the recently launched Kia Carnival. Yet still there are less luxurious MPV's available in India. As the Kia Carnival can possibly stand as the only one luxurious MPV in Indian market. So, to attract Indian customers and to stand as a luxurious MPV Toyota has launched the Vellfire in India at a price point of 79.50 lakhs.

Toyota Vellfire

Toyota launched the new luxurious MPV Toyota Vellfire. As the car was launched in India the famous superstar of the Malayalam film industry Mr. Mohanlal takes the delivery of his own Toyota Vellfire.
The new Toyota Vellfire is a luxurious MPV providing a premium luxurious design as well comfort. The design is pretty basic according to me which is fine considering it a luxurious MPV. The car comes feature loaded to provide maximum comfort to the owner.

Engine Specifications

The big car is powered with a 2.5 Ltrs petrol engine which gives out maximum power of 115 BHP at 4,700 RPM and a maximum torque of 198 Nm from 2,000 to 4,000 RPM. But that's not only about it as it gets 4 wheel drive so the car also comes with 2 electric motor as the car is a hybrid. Yes you can run the car in a full EV mode but for a shorter duration of time and the transition between Electric and petrol is very slick. The hybrid system is powered by a Nickel Metal Hydride battery which powers the front motor which produces 105 kW @ 4500 RPM and rear motor which produces 50 kW @ 4608 RPM. The car runs extremely smooth with least engine and road noise in the cabin.

As the car is a luxurious MPV so it comes with tones and tones of features. Although the driving seat and the dashboard kind of looks Toyota car with not so premium quality on it but still the car comes with a lot of features. Considering that the car is not a driver's car yet the car handling is extremely easy, it doesn't feels like the car is a 4935mm long car.

Conclusion

The car is a rear luxurious MPV, the vast place to seat is the middle row with the captain seats which gives an awesome comfortable ride. Although the car is a seven seater but for long runs according to me it will be nice to go with just 2 people at the third row. Although the cars pricing and the features states that it is not going to be sold like the Innova does.
